Amar Ruthen

Amar Ruthen (Trinity ' ) is a prospective chemistry major with interests in its applications in the energy sector. Prior to arriving at Duke, he investigated the stability and efficiency of perovskite solar cells, and he hopes to continue his research here. Outside of being a peer reviewer at Vertices, Amar is a Recruitment Ambassador for the Duke Energy Club and a trombonist in the Duke Wind Symphony. In his hometown of Carlisle, Massachusetts, he enjoys spending time with his family, going on runs, and supporting all Boston sports teams.
